Branch Group Appoints Wilber Chen as President of G.J. Hopkins | Lacy

The Branch Group, Inc. has appointed Wilber Chen as President of their G.J. Hopkins | Lacy MEP business unit. Mr. Chen comes to Branch with over 30 years of experience in the MEP, transportation, and heavy civil markets. Most recently, he was a Senior Design-Build Manager and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Manager for Kiewit’s Water Group, working on a wide variety of mechanical and industrial projects throughout the US. Prior to Kiewit, Wilber held the role of Senior Vice President in Parsons National Industrial / MEP sector, managing a group that worked on mechanical and industrial projects throughout the US, while also serving as Area Manager for Heavy Civil and Transit projects in the Western US. Wilber holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from California State Polytechnic – Pomona and will be relocating with his family from California to Roanoke, Virginia. Wilber will serve as a member of the Executive Leadership Team, reporting directly to CEO Donald Graul. His first week in the office will begin October 25, 2021.
